Next Show: Todd hido

Coming next June, Todd Hido’s images from his series Home at Night will be showcased and open for viewing in our main gallery from June till October. Hido’s work carries an unnerving feeling to them of emptiness all while also admiring that same feeling and showing the beauty within it in his photography. His dramatic lighting along with seemingly snapshot appearance to his image give the viewers a unique perspective of these suburban landscapes.

Art and education

Throughout the month of April, We will be offering current college students interested n the art gallery world classes on all the need to know information when talking to or working with a gallery. these classes will be offered two times a week as the same class for those who can’t make one of the times. Additionally, there will be four weeks of classes. This give students 4 classes to equip themselves with the knowledge to take on the gallery environment.

This March, our south side gallery room will have to honor of showcasing the work of Gregory Crewdson’s series Beneath the roses. His work is nothing short of a shot off a movie set, through massive teams of people, Crewdson utilizes unique and very intentional lighting along with acute attention to details
